WaffEdit is a Mac app and website operated for WaffEdit, a product by Waff. This notice explains how we handle information when you visit this website, use the WaffEdit app, contact support, or send diagnostics.

Information We Collect

We may collect anonymous or pseudonymous analytics and diagnostic information, such as page visits, language preference, app version, device class, operating system version, feature usage, crash reports, performance events, and error logs. We use this information to understand reliability, improve the app, fix bugs, and make product decisions.

We do not intentionally collect your video files, project files, exported media, passwords, payment card numbers, or sensitive personal content through analytics. If you contact support, we collect the information you choose to send us, such as your email address, message, screenshots, logs, or sample files.

Cookies And Analytics

The website uses essential cookies or local storage for language and cookie settings. With your permission, we may use anonymous analytics to understand traffic and improve the website. You can choose necessary-only cookies from the cookie settings popup.

App Diagnostics

The WaffEdit app may use privacy-conscious analytics and crash reporting tools, including services such as PostHog and Sentry, to collect anonymous or pseudonymous usage and diagnostic data. This helps us detect crashes, measure performance, and improve features. Where required by law, including under Thailand's PDPA and other applicable privacy laws, consent or opt-out controls will be provided.

We aim to support major privacy frameworks, including Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), the GDPR/UK GDPR for Europe, the Swiss FADP, China's PIPL where applicable, and other international privacy principles. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export your personal information, and to withdraw consent for optional analytics.

Data Sharing

We may share limited data with trusted service providers that help us operate the website, analytics, diagnostics, support, hosting, security, and app distribution. We do not sell personal information. App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's own policies.

Retention And Security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, legal compliance, security, support, and product improvement. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Responsibility And Disputes

WaffEdit is not responsible for user-created projects, imported media, exported files, business decisions, production deadlines, third-party tools, platform changes, or losses caused by how the website or app is used, except where liability cannot be limited by law. Any dispute related to this privacy notice, the website, or the app will be handled under Thai law and submitted to the competent courts of Thailand, unless mandatory local consumer or privacy law requires otherwise.
